Today is my dear friend, Parker's birthday! So, I wanted to write a post dedicated to her.

Dear Parker,
Today is your birthday! you're 14! Yay! You are one of the best friends I've ever had, and I love you so much! you're the one that I can talk to on the phone at almost 11:00 at night, tell all my little problems to, cry with, laugh with, get much needed advice from, email back and forth 24/7, talk about our "boy problems", get in an argument about who's prettier (hehe!), tell all my secrets to, tell you i love you in EVERY email i send you, and just be myself with.
You are SO beautiful... Inside AND out! And even though I've never even met you in "real life",  I 'm hoping and praying that I will soon! But i know that I will someday! I'm SO looking forward to that day... when we can run up to eachother and hug eachother until we can't breath... haha :)
I love you SO much, and I hope you have the best birthday EVER!!

Hey guys!

Y'all have prooobably when wondering why I haven't posted in awhile... I guess i don't really have a legitimate reason, i just haven't had the inspiration, or even time, really. But anyways, I thought i'd start with catching up with pictures!

Yesterday we met.......

None but Gabby Douglas! Unless you guys don't know who she is (haha), she is the world famous Gold-medal, gymnast Olympian! She was having a book-signing at LifeWay, for her newest book "Grace, Gold and Glory". We waited in line on the street for about 2 hours before getting to meet her, but it was worth it! She was really nice!  And i highly recommend getting her book... it's awesome.

 

And a few weeks ago, we put up our Christmas tree!

 

It was so fun. We decorated the tree, then had Christmas cookies, and watched cheesy Hallmark love movies. My favorite :) What is everyone's favorite Christmas movie?

I don't know why, but this year I haven't been as excited as I usually am about Christmas. I don't know what it is. There have been a few things that have happened that have kinda helped nurture it. But I'm trying to change that. Maybe it's partly because almost everyone in my family has had whooping cough for a few months, or maybe because it hasn't snowed, or something.

 I've almost finished all my Christmas shopping, but now i'm trying to rush and get it all finished before Christmas!

Hey guys!

Hey guys!

So sorry i haven't posted in a million years! oh goodness! buuut, all i'm gonna say is i wasn't physically able to get on the computer ;)

But anyways, a lot has happened since I last posted! First of all, even though i did do a post after my birthday, i didn't really talk about it! First of all, thank you all SO much for all the sweet birthday wishes! Love you guys so much... you're the best :) I had a great birthday :)
And I hope everyone had a HAPPY Thanksgiving! We did. Even though we didn't celebrate with family, we still had a great time with our family... haha :)

Aaaand, in-between my last post and today, we've gone Christmas shopping, had slumber parties, hot chocolate, stayed up late around our wood stove watching cheesy Hallmark love movies (us girls looove those!), listened to Christmas music...

At youth group, i heard this song by the Robbie Seay Band. I reallly liked it...i hope you all like it too!

 

 

The message that they were giving at Youth, is that, Salvation, and exepting Jesus in your life, is a free choice. He's just waiting at the door...knocking...waiting for an answer. We're not forced to accept Jesus... but why would we choose not to except the biggest, most glorious gift that was ever offered us?  Because the good news is, God is always ready to except us! Why is it SO easy to notice all the blemishes, and flaws about ourselves, and SO hard to notice the good things? Girls, I am SO guilty of this! When I look in the mirror, the things I'm quickest to notice is every little flaw! "Oh, why isn't my skin perfect?" "Ugghh, my hair is SO frizzy!" "Why can't I have a better figure?" Yaaa know, all those things! Why don't we notice the GOOD things? The way God has made you uniquely YOU! NO ONE else in the WORLD is just like YOU! No matter what flaws, what blemishes, you are beautiful JUST the way you are! When God looks at you, He see's your heart... not the surface blemishes! He sees a beautiful creature that He has perfectly designed JUST the way He wants you to be! And it hurts him to see you un happy with yourself! I'm not trying to sound like the perfect on here... trust me, I'm guilty of being displeased with myself ALL the time!  But, why are we always trying to be somebody else? Cause girls, everyone else is already taken! God made us so special and unique and beautiful! He doesn't want us to be somebody else! If God had wanted you to look like Selena Gomez, he would've made you like Selena Gomez! Cause YOU are YOU, and there is absolutley no one else that looks exactly like you, or is exactly YOU! I know... it's WAY too easy to look at all these beautiful, "flawless" people, and want to be like them! It's natural! And I do it all the time! But you know, God doesn't matter what's on the outside. He wouldn't care if you had a million pimples, the frizziest hair, and the smallest frame... IF you had a beautiful heart :) And I'm not saying to stop taking care of yourself, and try to be ugly! Not at all! I think it's good for girls to want to be beautiful,and it's the most natural thing! I just don't think it should be everything. 

So, the next time you look in the mirror, try to notice the GOOD things!

I hope everyone has/had a happy halloween! we were hoping to go to a trunk-or-treat, but now almost everyone in my family has whooping cough! which isn't fun :)
And thank you everyone for voting on my poll! I'm going to try to upload a video of myself singing SOON, but like I said, I have whooping cough, so my voice is not that magnificent! haha :)

So, I guess I'll do a fashion tip!

After you've washed your hair, try not to blow-dry it. That can take all the moister out of your hair, and it can make it dry and have split ends. So, unless you're in a hurry to go somewhere or something, try to pull your hair up, and let it dry by itself :)

Also, I'm going to recommend some of my favorite face washes!

This is one of my FAVORITE face washes EVER! It makes your skin perfectly soft and glow :)

 

Aaand, a natural face mask I use is just plain oatmeal! Just make a regular batch of oatmeal (old-fashioned!), and let it cool down for a minute. Then, just spread it all over your face, and let it dry. It takes about 10-15 minutes to dry, then, rinse your face off with warm water! It makes your skin SOOOO smooth and soft... it's really nice, and It's one of my all time favorites!

 

And, another facial home-remedy is just honey and cinnamon! Just mix together enough honey and cinnamon to cover your face... about 1/4 cup of honey, and 3-4 tablespoons of cinnamon. Spread it on your face, and keep it on for about an hour. It doesn't dry, so don't wait for it to! Rinse your face with warm water. The honey makes your face glow, and the cinnamon just helps clear any blemishes :)

goodness... it's been awhile... again! sorry guys :/ buuuut, again we've been busy! i just couldn't find any spare time for a blog post! but i'll try to get better at it!

So, on Monday my brother Doug and I went to this youth group called YoungLife... it was really fun! gonna name what we did every single day!

Yesterday, I went on a photo shoot of myself... haha :) the fall weather is SO pretty right now, I really wanted to get out to take some pictures!

I set my camera up on a self timer, so I was able to capture pictures from a distance :)

For my fashion tip, I'm gonna recommend my favorite makeup products!


Thiiis is the mascara I use, and I REALLY love it! I love basically anything LA Colors!

And thiiis is my foundation... this is REALLY great, and I highly recommend it!



And this is the eyeshadow I use, and I REALLY love it!

Wow... it has been SO long since I last posted... so sorry guys! Life for me has been sooo unbelievably busy! I guess since it's been awhile since I last posted, I'll have a lot of different subjects to post about, so, be ready for a long post! Haha :)

I think it was tuesday when I was able to Skype with my new friend Parker! It was SO fun :) She is such a sweet, beautiful girl, and it was so fun to be able to "meet" her! Love u, Parker :)
Wednesday my sister Noelle had ballet lessons, so we went to that, then went to Sonic and got some chili peppers, and Limeades! Incase you don't know what Sonic is, it's a really cool drive thru place where you can pull in into a parking space and order your meal outside, and they'll have workers bring you your meal on roller blades! too fun :) 
On Thursday my friend Kealie came over for the day... that was really fun :) We hadn't seen her in awhile, so it was great to catch up! We had a crazy fun time! We rode our dirt bikes, made crafts and things, aaand homemade caramel corn! It got a liiitle burnt, but it was ok :) then we watched Good Luck Charlie and then did some target shooting... actually it wasn't really "target" shooting, but more random shooting into the woods :) hehe
On Friday my brother Doug graduated from a Navy SEAL training camp... the camp was two weeks long, and they usually met at a park near us :) Doug had a lot of fun! I'll try to post some pics from his "graduation" as soon as i'm able to! And afterwards, we girls went into town and had some "girl time" at the mall, which was really fun, and well needed! Then we went home :)
Saturday we went to a fall festival with my friend Kealie:) actually we went to two fall festivals... the first one we stayed for about an hour, and at the second one we stayed almost all day! It was so fun :) my friend Logan was there too, so it was fun to hang out with friends all day :) all the teens (and kids) played volleyball almost the whole time... it was really fun besides the fact that I'm terrible at volleyball... lolz :) BUT I'm learning!
Yesterday we were all SOOOO tired that we slept in kinda late, so we weren't able to make it to church. But we went to a park and stayed there for awhile and played different sports. Theeen we came home and grilled bratwurst (sausage), and had a late dinner :)
So, you can prooobably see we've been a little busy! haha :)

So, I haven't done a fashion tip in awhile, so here goes!

When you're putting together an outfit, try not to be too "matchy-matchy"... like a baggy top, and baggy pants/skirt :) it's cuter if you did something like skinny jeans and a looser top, and vise-versa:) buuut, a really tight top and really baggy pants wooon't really look good, so keep that in mind :) If you're not super comfortable with suuuuper skinny pants, then you can just try to wear a little more form fitting pants, and a loose top... it doesn't have to be suuuper skinny pants :) And try not to wear too much of the same color... like a blue top and blue pants/skirt... try to give a contrast. Right now (like i've said a million times!), un-matched outfits are popular... i don't mean throw together anything, but you'd be surprised at what a cute outfit you could put together just from your own closet.  Hope these tips are a little helpful... I'll try to post a picture of my "outfit of the day" soon :)

I'm sitting outside right now as I'm writing this post. the sun is softly creeping through the trees, and the breeze is quietly blowing through my hair. Sometimes life can be hard, so we don't even notice the small things like these in life. Sometimes when we're drowning in our own struggles it's hard to notice the small things. Like how the sun rises every day, how the birds softly sing in the trees, how the breeze softly blows, how the rain falls to make things bloom and grow, how a baby's laugh fills up and warms a room. Sometimes when we get caught up in things, all we notice is the "important" things, and the other things fade, and don't matter. I know how it is to be caught up in so many things, that i forget about the small things, and don't even notice them. As i type, my sister is doing my hair ;), my sister Annabelle is playing quietly on the deck, and the cool, fall breeze is starting to move in. The trees are juust starting to change color, and the sweet, familiar scent of autumn is filling the air. God wants us do delight in everything in life, not just the material things. I know it's hard to delight in some things... like school, and chores ;) But it delights God when he sees us happy, and he doesn't want us to be sooo caught up in life, that we can even sometimes forget about HIM. Now I'm NOT an any means trying to sound perfect. I often get caught up in things, and don't even spend a minute with God in a day.  But how do you sooo often find time for other things/people, and forget about God? I can be accused of doing this sooo many times!

So, today, I'm challenging you (and myself) to notice the small things :)

Hey Everyone!
Sorry I haven't done a post in awhile, but I've been really enjoying spending time with my grandparents! We've had so much fun!

They arrived on Saturday evening, so during the day Noelle and I had to clean up our room for them to stay in! If you knew what our room was like, you would know that it takes ALL DAY! I think u know that, ReAnne ;)

Here's what I looked like after Noelle and I had a fight (: I got Noelle first, then she beat me with a stinky trash bag! She squished it RIGHT on my face, and it stunk SO BAD! haha

On Sunday, we went to Bass Pro Shop! It was sorta fun (: Here are some pics!

This is me (so excited!) on a HUGE boat that had carpeting, a toilet, couches, and EVERYTHING!

After we took these pics, I didn't know this old grumpy guy had been watching me the whole time, and when I looked over at him, he was like "are ya gonna take a picture of me too?!" Ugh, it was embarrassing (:

 

On Monday, we had a "girls day out" with our grandma (nana)! It was so fun! Here are some pictures from that!

And guess who we got our picture with?! When I saw him I started rushing towards him with my camera, then the security guards grabbed me and drug me away, then, thru the noise, Justin yelled "let her get a picture with me", then the security guards let me go, and I got a picture with the beloved Justin Bieber! Haha (: And btw, I'm not that short, I was leaning over ;)

Hi Guys!

I'm sorry to be doing a post SO soon after my last one, but right now is the only time I'm able to cram it in! haha
Anyways, tomorrow my grandparents are coming! They're going to be staying for about a week, and I CAN'T wait! We're probably going to be going to this thing called the "Field Day of the Past".... it's kinda like the state fair, only it has more antiques and that type stuff (: I can't really explain it good!
So, anyways, I probably won't be able to get on the computer a lot while they're here, so this miiiight be the last post for a few days!

Fiiirst of all, Annabelle's birthday was last Tuesday! She turned 5! I can't believe she's so grown up... honestly, she is one of my bestest friends!
